Background

Avalara first looked for career transition support as they required help to support a company restructure, which would include a number of redundancies across multiple departments. The company wanted to provide an extra level of neutral, third party support to their employees to make the transition as positive as this time could be. New to outplacement support, on first speaking with Renovo, they found their values resonated and the Account Manager immediately understood what the company’s needs were.

A number of the employees who needed support were going to find it difficult to find new work and so Avalara wanted to make sure they had the best opportunity to successfully move on in an unstable job market.
Support was required across several different department and covering different levels of employment. Avalara needed a solution that was encompass a variety of needs and situations.
As this was the first time Avalara had provided career transition, they needed support from an engaged Team who could help them communicating the support across the business.
The Solution
Avalara chose to support all exiting employees with a Professional Programme. This would offer 1-2-1 coaching support, as well as online resources which would help those leaving with the most up-to-date access to job searching in the modern employment market.
By opting for the Professional Programme, access to a Career Coach meant that Avalara employees were provided with personalised support that was tailored around their individual needs, with guidance and direction from a recruitment market expert.
From the first phone call to mobilisation and set up, Renovo provided responsive, quick and seamless customer service to Avalara. Providing bespoke materials such as flyers helped Avalara communicate the support across the company.
